The main purpose of the research is to investigate the role of education on the Information-Seeking ability of out-of-school children in using digital libraries and databases. In this study, the research method is Semi-experimental and survey. The statistical population of the research consists of 195 students who have dropped out of school in two schools (Moshtaq School in Kerman and Arslan Boys' School in Rafsanjan. The tool for collecting information was a checklist. The result of research, the education of deprived children's measurement of available digital libraries and information databases (Database of Tebyan Net, Digital Library of the National Library, Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, Database of Iranian Book and Literature Home) is 2.935 percent respectively at a relatively favorable level. before education deprived children's measurement of behavior in the use of digital libraries and information databases is 2.125 percent respectively, use unpleased. but after education-deprived children measurement of behavior in the use of digital libraries and information databases is 2.45 percent respectively, which is better. The level of children's behavior in using full-text databases in digital libraries is evaluated at a relatively favorable level with an average of 2.38. The results of the research showed that in the reviewed textbooks, more attention has been paid to the methods of locating, obtaining, and selecting information, library, and electronic search. It is necessary for students to learn the ability to distinguish reliable information sources from false sources. Also, the ability to search for information including knowing keywords, Boolean logic, and formulating and limiting the use of search terms with various operators is significant in the form of information-seeking behavior. Teaching to understand problem statements, teaching to use databases, and correct use of information technologies, and the web environment are among the suggestions of the research.

A lay summary (LS) is a tool for communicating research findings to the public by simplifying academic and scientific texts into accessible language. Such summaries can be produced for all types of scholarly work, including theses and dissertations (TDs). Writing LSs for TDs published in the Iranian Scientific Information Database (GANJ) could significantly improve public engagement with scientific knowledge and research outcomes in Iran. However, at present, the National System for Registration of Theses, Dissertations, and Proposals (NSRTDP) at the Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IranDoc) does not require users to submit an LS upon TD registration. Since researchers are key stakeholders in promoting LSs - and their participation is essential for wider adoption - this study investigates the attitudes of university students (as NSRTDP users) toward writing LSs in both Persian and English, using a quantitative survey approach. Additionally, it proposes improvements for NSRTDP and GANJ. The sample consisted of 449 participants selected through convenience sampling, and an online questionnaire was used for data collection. The findings revealed that 79.3% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed with adding a lay summary in Persian, while 72% supported its addition in English. Furthermore, Ph.D. students showed greater agreement than Master’s students regarding uploading summaries in English. These outcomes suggest that students are committed to making open science more accessible and transparent, reflecting their inclination toward open and understandable science. This approach highlights the need to enhance the NSRTDP and GANJ to support LAs, as well as the necessity for training in writing such summaries effectively.

The tile and ceramic industry, as one of the country’s strategic sectors, operates in a highly competitive environment where leveraging external knowledge through open innovation is considered essential for achieving competitive differentiation. However, the absence of a comprehensive and context-specific model for the systematic implementation of this approach remains a significant gap. This study aims to develop a model for implementing open innovation in the tile and ceramic industry of Yazd Province. A mixed-methods approach was applied in two sequential phases. In the first phase, key factors influencing open innovation adoption were identified through a literature review, and their interrelationships were structured into a six-level hierarchical model using Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) based on expert opinions. In the second phase, the proposed model was empirically validated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with data collected from 173 completed questionnaires distributed among managers and employees in the industry. The results indicate that “competitive environment,” as a foundational driver at the lowest level of the model, activates the innovation process through “top management support.” At the intermediate levels, “strategic planning” and “financial resources” function as linking mechanisms that channel resources toward “training,” “organizational culture,” and “organizational structure.” At the highest level, “employee participation,” “employees,” and “customer interaction” represent the observable outcomes of open innovation implementation. Path analysis results, supported by acceptable model fit indices, confirmed all hypothesized relationships. Among the constructs, training had the strongest direct effect on employee participation, while organizational structure exerted the most significant influence on customer interaction. The proposed model provides an empirically validated and systematic framework for open innovation adoption in the tile and ceramic industry.

Electronic government, commonly known as E-government, involves utilizing technology devices such as computers and the Internet for faster delivery of public services to citizens and other individuals in a country or region. E-government encompasses everything from 'online government services' to the exchange of information and services electronically with citizens, businesses, and other government entities. It enables citizens, enterprises, and organizations to interact with the government more easily and at a lower cost. E-government is a global phenomenon that impacts practitioners, scholars, and citizens, leveraging the capabilities of information systems. Today, governments use e-government capabilities for numerous social and economic activities and encourage citizens to take advantage of this useful tool. Health is considered as a central sustainable development in every society. In this regard, Equity in access to health services, especially in financial aspect is main concept which offered by the Health Insurance Organizations (HIO). The concept of e-government has been used to refer to everything from "online government services" to "electronic exchange of information and services with citizens, businesses, and other government entities." E-government enables citizens, companies, and organizations to interact with the government more easily and at a lower cost. Insurance is one of the essential aspects of the modern world, with insurance companies offering their services through various programs. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the establishment of e-government in health insurance organizations in a three-country region. The research method used was a survey and descriptive type. The statistical population consisted of health insurance documents, and all documents and regulations related to the implementation of e-government in the Iranian Health Insurance Organization were studied. Region 3 was purposefully selected to examine the statistics, information, and reports of the Iranian Health Insurance Organization. Data was collected through the review of texts and documents, including internet searches and library research. Information was also gathered from information forms designed based on the results of document reviews. Additionally, data and information were provided by the Technology and Performance Evaluation Offices through the Secretariat of Region 3. Finally, statistical and information data were analyzed using descriptive indicators (centrality and dispersion) including frequency, mean, and standard deviation in the SPSS statistical software. The study found that there are general regulations and requirements for establishing e-government at the level of laws and regulations. In terms of communication type, the establishment of e-government has mainly focused on information dissemination and one-way communication in the organization under study, while interactive and integrated communication is still at the level of programs and documents. Furthermore, there is more emphasis on processes and communications from the organization to the people and insured (G2C) and the organization to service providers (G2B). Due to deficiencies in infrastructure, technologies, and management and leadership factors, the establishment of e-government in Kerman Province Health Insurance only covers specific processes and does not comprehensively address all e-government-related matters. In the field of management and leadership, intra-sectoral coordination in the health sector, from the national to provincial levels, as well as at lower levels, between different areas such as software engineering, organizational engineering, processes, and human resource management from user to process management, has been challenging due to the lack of a common understanding and value of programs and the concept of e-government. Additionally, coordination between agencies has been hindered by the absence of a comprehensive and integrated program and management at the macro level. The biggest challenge in coordination between the public and private sectors, particularly in software design, stems from changes in public and private management which create additional obstacles in the establishment of e-government. The study suggests that the health insurance organization needs a change management team to guide and lead all effective components in a coordinated and integrated manner. An integrated management system for projects related to organizing and deploying the e-government program should be launched. A comprehensive e-government program in the health insurance sector should consider all basic components, including project scheduling, resources, equipment, tools, technology, and necessary human resources. Regular training of human resources to familiarize them with technology, processes, and program requirements is essential. It is also important to identify and implement up-to-date technologies and essential software in the e-government structure, replacing old programs with updated versions promptly. In any case, e-government activities in the field of health insurance must rely on technological facilities and appropriate applications, as well as the use of specialized and efficient human resources. This will enable appropriate planning to strengthen and expand specialized health insurance activities.

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has caused service companies, as a critical infrastructure, to face an increasing prevalence, severity, and complexity of cyber-attacks, which requires greater focus on cybersecurity. Therefore, the present study, using a multi-method qualitative approach (thematic analysis and fuzzy Delphi), has extracted, categorized, and interpreted key themes for improving cybersecurity technological capabilities. Accordingly, first, by studying and analyzing the literature on information technology capabilities and conducting semi-structured interviews with 10 managers and industrial and academic experts, and using a thematic analysis approach, technological capabilities in the field of cybersecurity were identified and categorized into 5 organizing themes and 36 basic themes. Then, the fuzzy Delphi questionnaire was distributed among 25 experts and the importance of each criterion was determined. Due to duplication or integration with other factors, 9 factors from the set of key factors of cybersecurity technological capability were screened, and ultimately, 27 basic themes or key factors were confirmed. The results showed that cybersecurity technological capability consists of 5 organizing themes, including human resource capability with 4 basic themes, organizational process capability with 3 basic themes, technical and security infrastructure capability with 9 basic themes, strategic and managerial capability with 6 basic themes, and key stakeholder security capability with 5 basic themes.

This study aims to identify, contextualize, and validate a comprehensive framework for governmental support of the book publishing industry in Iran based on a paradigmatic model (causal, contextual, and intervening conditions, strategies, and outcomes) to provide a synchronized roadmap for cultural policymakers. A mixed-methods (qualitative-quantitative) research design was employed. In this quantitative phase, a self-administered questionnaire based on the qualitative findings was distributed among key publishing stakeholders, yielding 368 valid respondents. Data were analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) for component extraction, followed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) utilizing LISREL software. Missing data were handled using the Full Information Maximum Likelihood (FIML) estimation method. EFA identified 17 distinct components across the five dimensions of the paradigm model, accounting for 97.14% of the total variance. The CFA goodness-of-fit indices demonstrated an excellent fit for the overall model (chi^2 = 2403.56, df = 2348, P-value = 0.21, RMSEA = 0.0080). Structural path analysis revealed that 38 out of 42 direct hypotheses and 64 out of 84 mediating paths were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Economic and infrastructural factors were found to be primary drivers of financial, technological, and managerial strategies; however, their direct relationship with international strategies was rejected (P = 0.144). Additionally, cultural-promotional strategies showed no significant impact on economic outcomes (P = 0.083). The structural model exhibits high validity and predictive power. Unidimensional interventions or an exclusive focus on promotional campaigns without resolving underlying economic and managerial barriers fail to sustain the publishing value chain. Technological and managerial strategies remain the cornerstone for achieving sustainable economic and cultural outcomes in Iran's publishing sector.

With the rapid expansion of digital technologies, Digital Humanities (DH) has emerged as one of the most interdisciplinary domains of contemporary scholarship and has evolved into a dynamic space for redefining the mission of the humanities in the era of data. The purpose of this study is to map the scientific landscape and analyze global trends in Digital Humanities, while proposing policy implications for Iran. To achieve this, a mixed-methods design combining quantitative scientometric analysis and qualitative meta-synthesis was employed. In the first stage, scientometric and co-word analyses were performed on 4,479 scholarly documents indexed in the Web of Science between 1998 and 2025, processed using Excel and VOSviewer. In the second stage, to deepen conceptual understanding of the resulting clusters, the abstracts of selected papers from each cluster (a total of 160) were coded thematically in MAXQDA Analytics Pro 2022, following the six-phase framework of Braun & Clarke (2006), and then integrated through meta-synthesis. The results indicate that the field of Digital Humanities has progressed from the early stage of infrastructural development and open access toward more complex layers of data governance, digital literacy, semantic modeling, and AI-driven cultural interpretation. Eight major conceptual clusters were identified: (1) infrastructure, management, and digital access; (2) geography, space, and digital media; (3) cultural heritage and digital data management; (4) quantitative analyses and computational linguistics; (5) digital literary and cultural studies; (6) artificial intelligence and historical text analysis; (7) data visualization and human–computer interaction; and (8) classical digital humanities and ancient texts. These clusters reveal the field’s transition from mere digitalization toward the production of knowledge and complex interpretive practices. The meta-synthesis of the eight clusters uncovered five evolutionary levels of transformation in Digital Humanities: (1) formation of infrastructures and resources, (2) expansion of digital literacy and education, (3) computational and semantic analysis of cultural data, (4) innovation driven by artificial intelligence, and (5) integration and data governance. By identifying global trends and emerging clusters, this study provides a comprehensive overview of the dynamics, maturity, and policy-relevant dimensions of Digital Humanities in the global discourse and concludes with recommendations for national policy orientations in Iran.

The aim of the research is to understand the status of the subject field in databases. This study analyzes and evaluates the methods of using the subject field, examines the main reasons for its use, and explores the application and performance of the subject in the field of information organization activities. The research method is a comparative study on the use of subject-related fields. The statistical population includes 10 Persian databases and 12 foreign databases that are highly important among users and scientific institutions. The research findings indicate that information exploration on information websites is based on various types of fields such as title, author, document type, ISBN, ISSN, DOI, journal name, journal type, article type, and other fields. Each database has utilized multiple fields based on the available information and user needs. Additionally, the use of the subject field has been observed in 90% of Iranian databases in various ways. Among foreign databases, 100% have incorporated the subject field in different formats. In most cases, databases have utilized the keyword field to support the subject field or as a substitute for it. The results highlight that user needs, organizational goals, and the type of information services emphasize the importance of the subject field. The use of standard tools is crucial in validating the subject. Subject classifications in the form of hierarchy, citation, clustering, systematic classifications, indexing standards, and the use of artificial intelligence all play significant roles in organizing and structuring the subject.

Alzheimer's disease, the most common cause of dementia, is a growing global health concern. Accurate and timely diagnosis of this disease, especially in the early stages, plays an important role in managing symptoms and improving the quality of life of patients. In recent years, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and in particular convolutional neural networks, have shown great potential for automated analysis of neuroimaging with high accuracy. However, the validity of many previous studies has been questioned due to data leakage errors. Aiming to overcome the challenge of data leakage, this study presents a valid and efficient deep learning framework for distinguishing patients with Alzheimer's disease from control subjects using structural magnetic resonance images from ADNI dataset. The main innovation of this study is the design of a dedicated architecture. Instead of using pre-trained models, this architecture is designed from the ground up, using depthwise separable convolutions to strike an optimal balance between computational efficiency and feature extraction power. To validate the results, this research has avoided any data leakage. Evaluation of the final model on the test dataset showed excellent performance, achieving 95.12% accuracy and an area under the ROC curve of 0.94. These results indicate that a carefully designed architecture and a valid methodology can become a robust and reliable tool to aid in the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.

Accelerating digital transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) requires a precise understanding of the causal relationships between information technology governance mechanisms and organizational digital outcomes. This study adopts a quantitative approach to examine the causal effects of IT governance maturity on digital transformation acceleration in SMEs. To this end, a conceptual model was developed through a systematic review of the literature and a comparative analysis of established international frameworks, including COBIT 5, ITIL 4, and ISO/IEC 38500. Data were collected through a field survey of SMEs located in industrial towns in Tehran and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). To assess the quality of the measurement model, indicators of convergent and discriminant validity as well as reliability coefficients were evaluated, and the results confirmed the adequacy of construct measurement. Findings from the structural model indicate that IT governance maturity has a statistically significant effect on the acceleration of digital transformation and explains a substantial proportion of the variance in the dependent variable. Moreover, model fit indices demonstrate an acceptable fit between the empirical data and the proposed conceptual model, with RMSEA values below 0.05, GFI values above 0.90, and a χ²/df ratio below 3. Overall, the results provide robust empirical evidence of the critical role of IT governance in accelerating digital transformation in SMEs and offer a sound evidence-based foundation for managerial decision-making and policy formulation.
<OtherAbstract Language="FA">Accelerating digital transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) requires a precise understanding of the causal relationships between information technology governance mechanisms and organizational digital outcomes. Overall, the results provide robust empirical evidence of the critical role of IT governance in accelerating digital transformation in SMEs and offer a sound evidence-based foundation for managerial decision-making and policy formulation.</OtherAbstract>

In recent years, the reliance on data within organizations has moved from being an advantage to becoming an essential requirement. As data volumes expand rapidly in the era of big data and digital transformation, the cultural alignment of organizations with data-oriented practices becomes increasingly significant. A stronger orientation toward data encourages more rational and evidence-based thinking in managerial decisions. This study aims to identify and clarify the main components of a data-driven culture in organization. To achieve this, Kitchenham’s systematic review procedure was adopted, and the reporting process followed the PRISMA guidelines for transparent and structured literature reviews. In the initial search, 654 academic records related to data-driven culture were retrieved from major databases. After removing duplicates, 334 studies remained. The titles and abstracts of these works were screened, and papers unrelated to the objective namely, identifying the components of data-driven culture in organizational settings were excluded. In the next stage, the full texts of the selected papers were reviewed. To minimize bias, two researchers independently evaluated the methodological quality of each study, and papers with insufficient rigor were removed. Additional priority was given to studies published in Q1 journals, and the remaining papers were appraised using the CASP 2023 checklist to ensure theoretical soundness. In total, 31 studies met the inclusion criteria. The synthesis of these studies indicates that data-driven culture in organization is a dynamic and multilayered concept. It emerges through the interplay between data-driven values and beliefs on the one hand, and organizational infrastructures and symbolic elements on the other. Among the most prominent components identified are data-driven decision-making, the values of transparency and accountability, organizational data infrastructures, and leadership that actively encourages data-oriented behaviors<br><br><br>
