Abstract
This study aimed to understand the role of computer games in common of foreign languages elements among third grade middle school students in Tehran and with utilization of game theories and social learning theory has been investigated to explain this issue. This study, have been done with methods survey and observation and using of a questionnaire among 450 among third grade middle school students in Tehran. The results showed that: 1.There is a significant relationship within the role of computer games and common of foreign languages elements among third grade middle school students in Tehran. 2. There is a significant relationship within the role of computer games and enhancing the skills (problem-solving ability, enhance creativity, encourage to teamwork, enhance the sense of competition, improve the speed of action and reaction, decision-making about future events, a sense of power and control over the computer) of third grade middle school students in Tehran. 3. There is a significant relationship within the role of computer games and the feelings and attitudes (understand the vocabulary, enjoyable vocabulary, memorization the vocabulary, interest in language lessons, interest in language teacher and active in language classes) of third grade middle school students in Tehran if common foreign language elements. 4. Tehran there is a significant relationship within the role of computer games and learning of foreign language elements (enhance vocabulary, strengthen writing, strengthen speaking, strengthen listening and communication skills) third grade middle school students in Tehran. 5. There is no significant difference within the role of computer games and common of foreign language elements in terms of sex students. 6. There is no significant difference within the role of computer games and common of foreign language elements in terms of education student's father. 7. There is significant difference within the role of computer games and common of foreign language elements in terms of education student's mother. 8. There is no significant difference within the role of computer games and common of foreign language elements in terms of income students' families. According to the findings obtained in this study it can be concluded that students through computer games learn indirectly and unconsciously a foreign language element.
