Investigating the Effect of Digital Literacy on the Acceptance of E-government Services with the Moderating Role of Information Technology Infrastructure

Abstract

Understanding and influencing the variables affecting the acceptance of e-government services is crucial because the acceptance of e-government by citizens will bring many benefits to society, including transparency and accountability, and provide the basis for the distribution of government services directly and around the clock. Will provide on all days of the week. In this regard, the present study investigated the effect of digital literacy on the acceptance of e-government services with the moderating role of information technology infrastructure. The research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection, it is a descriptive research and in the field of field studies. In terms of the relationship between research variables is of correlation type. The results showed that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on the acceptance of e-government services by 43% and in this regard the IT infrastructure has a positive moderating role to the extent 40% has it. Also, in the sub-hypotheses, the effect of digital competence, digital usage and digital transmission on the acceptance of e-government services is positive and significant.
