Abstract
The success factors of information systems and their role in improving the organization's performance are still widespread for many organizations. Managers are always looking for accurate, accurate, timely and relevant information to decide on it. The captivity and camping life of Iranian prisoners in Iraqi camps can be studied in different ways, but studies show that few studies have been conducted with a scientific approach in this regard. Therefore, the purpose of the present research is to identify the elements and factors of the management information system related to Iranian prisoners in camps in Iraq. This research is a descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of this study is the so called Azadegan (prisoners) of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 of them and the documents needed were collected for investigation and analyzed by content analysis method. The research findings are presented in the form of Iranian prisoners of war (POW) in Iraqi camps. This model has 7 sections, underlying factors, team formation, production and access to information, information processing and refinement, information distribution, system effects on human resources management and a feedback loop.
